The phenomenon of a "hot hand" suggests a player has streaks of brillant performances that seem to increase the liklihood of success on the next shot.  During such a period, it is suggested that the player gets better and better with each successful shot.   In other words, it appears that the player has periods in which they can't miss.  But, is this actually true in bowling?  Bowlers Hot Hand is a statistical analysis of PBA players and offers an analysis to answer whether professional bowlers experience such a phenomenon.   The results might surprize you.
