It's Official. Guiness Approves the Record for Most Strikes in 1 Minute PDF Print E-mail

ImageIt's Official!  The World Record for Most Strikes in One Minute has been approved by Guiness.  On January 24, 2011, members of the Webber International University bowling team attempted the record at their training facility, the world-famous Kegel Training Center.  Colin Champion is now the official record holder because he established the new mark of 8 strikes in one minute.  Click read more to see the new record, the old record and a local newspaper article about the record.

Kegel Coaches Will Train University Team for 08-09 Season PDF Print E-mail

ImageBABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University (WIU) has partnered with the Kegel Training Center to offer collegiate bowling beginning in the 2008-09 academic year.  The 4-year private business university plans to field a team to compete in United States Bowling Congress collegiate tournaments to qualify for the Intercollegiate Bowling Championship Sectionals and Nationals.  The team will train at the Kegel Training Center and be coached by the coaches at the Training in Lake Wales, Florida.  Scholarships are available for bowlers and they will be recruiting internationally.  Read more....

Slowinski Joins Kegel Training Center Staff PDF Print E-mail

Joe Slowinski has joined Kegel to work as a member of the Training Center team. He will be a Master Teaching Professional.  In addition to working as a coach and pro shop technician, Slowinski will be responsible to develop new programs and training materials especially to support high school, college and international teams and their coaches.  He will also be collaborating with Training Center staff on the development of a new Kegel training manual for bowlers.  He will also be collaborating with Training Center staff on the development of a new Kegel Training Center manual designed to teach bowlers the most important elements of the modern game and how-to adapt these critical areas into their own game.  To learn more about the Training Center click here.  Read more about Joe joining Kegel by clicking read more.
